Fixing the cause, not just the crack

A leaning wall usually means the drainage stone and pipe behind it clogged or were never installed. A settled walkway means the base was too shallow or was never compacted. Spalling brick often means the wrong mortar mix trapped water in a soft historic masonry unit.

We diagnose the failure first, correct the drainage or base, then rebuild — which is why our repairs are quoted after a site visit rather than over the phone.

Matching existing materials

On repair work, the goal is that nobody can tell it was repaired. We source matching brick, stone and paver units where available, match mortar color and joint profile, and use the softer lime-based mixes that older masonry requires instead of a hard modern portland mix that would crack the surrounding units.
